Another fantastic Round Norfolk Relay (22/9/2008) ... Beautiful weather set the backdrop for our best RNR performance to date. The event is always a mammoth effort: so many people working (cycling, timekeeping, driving, running, marshalling and supporting) to the point of exhaustion and beyond in order to bring a baton back to where it started. And this year we managed it in 25 hours, 59 minutes and 41 seconds: 13 minutes and 19 seconds inside our schedule, and 52 minutes and 7 seconds inside our previous club record. We were 27th overall (compared to our previous best of 36th, which was in a year when there were only 37 teams!): a fantastic result. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part and, as ever, to the RNR organisers whose commitment to this amazing event each year is mind-boggling.

Mud proves popular on the Summer Sunday Run (28/8/2008) ... Well done to everyone who helped with the Summer Sunday 10k (i.e. everyone except Ben, who was on holiday!!), as well as to all those who ran. Despite the rain, the event has so far received glowing reviews on Runners World etc.. In fact the mud seems to have added to the fun.

Glad to reach the finish (16/7/2008) ... There is a nice picture HERE of Steve and Ben reaching the end of Day 2 in the Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon.

A great start to the 2008 season (9/6/2008) ... Congratulations are in order to some of our speedier runners. Racheal (as usual) has been earning the greatest honours, with impressive 3rd place (for the second year running) in the Bungay 20km Great East Run. Richard C ran a superb 4:02 pb at the London Marathon. And Chris's punishing schedule of summer marathons is well underway, with a 3:18 run already (his main targets are later in the season) at Copenhagen.
