Above is Nick, Leigh and Shaun looking very comfortable and with a smile for the camera!

Hereward Relay - Sunday 24 November 2013

Nick, Phil, James and Greg ventured further afield and attempted the relay from Peterborough Cathedral to Ely Cathedral in four stages with Greg having the shorter 6 miles and then Nick, James and Phil doing the next three 10 mile legs.  They came in 25 out of 101 teams with a time 4:37:43.  The route was over tracks, road and river banks.  Lots of mud.  All thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back next year with may be two teams.

Horsford Cross Country - Sunday 10 November 2013

This was the first of the series of three Cross Countries organised by Norwich Road Runners.  This year it was a new course - 4 laps for the men, 3 laps for the ladies.  The route included a few stream/ditch crossings and plenty of mud.  There were four Reepham Runners taking part - first in was Sam Kingston, with a time of 38.09, Nick Bowden (first in his age group) in 38.29, Phil Cooper in 39.26 and Karen Grapes in a time of 38.03.  Chris Edwards took part but was injured out - hopefully nothing too serious.

First Blickling Park Run - Saturday 9 November 2013

Following the trial run run on the previous Sunday to iron out any problems, the first Blickling Park Run took place on Saturday 9 November.  There were 152 runners.  From Reepham Runners we had 5 - Andy Hawes, 32nd, with a time of 22.36; Clem Vogler, 36th, 22.59; Julie Wade, 76th, 26.55; Tony Karger, 92nd, 28.42 and Shaun Wade, 90th, in 28.37. Good times for everyone.

As well as runners we had Jenni Egmore, Phil Cooper, Nick Bowden, and Marie Latham marshalling, so good turn out from that point of view.
