Glaisdale Rigg Fell Run - 2 March 2014

Whilst Dominic was running an epic distance, Jenni Egmore and Nick Bowden ventured to the North Yorkshire Moors and Jenni did her first fell race.  It was a cloudy day and the run ran from the village of Glaisdale up over the Moors and into the clouds on to Glaisdale Rigg.  A steep downhill, across water meadows and up a steep path through woods up on to more moors.  There was a lovely piece of downhill road followed by a muddy steep path back down to the pub for the finish.  Nick came 35 and was third in his class in a time of 77.42.  Jenni, who found somebody who was also on her first fell run, but lived in the village, chattered her way round and eventually came in 92, was fifth in her class in a time of 103.13.  There wer 101 runners.

Stody Cross Country - 9 March 2014
